Hi,
I'm Britt Ringdahl

I am a Licensed Dental Hygienist with clinical experience in dentistry since 2009. Over the years, my professional interests naturally shifted toward understanding how breathing, oral posture, muscle function, and daily habits influence long‑term oral, airway, and thus overall health.

Myofunctional therapy became a focus of mine through extensive self‑directed study, continuing education, and clinical observation. I have completed IAOM‑recognized myofunctional therapy training and continue to study this field on an ongoing basis. I also serve as a clinical instructor at the college, supporting the education and development of future dental professionals.

For the past nine years, I have also been deeply engaged in learning about environmental toxins and daily exposures—including personal care products, food additives, and household chemicals—and how these exposures relate to holistic health, inflammation, and airway irritation. Many common products act as respiratory irritants, and this perspective has become an important part of how I view airway‑centred care. I am also a certified aromatherapist, with a strong focus on safe, intentional use.

On a personal level, this work is deeply meaningful to me. I have been on a long and challenging airway‑related journey that began in my own childhood, and both of my children are navigating airway‑related concerns as well. I often reflect on how different that journey might have been if this information and support had been available sooner.

My goal now is to simplify the process, reduce overwhelm, and help build a clearer roadmap for families and individuals in Northern BC seeking airway‑centred, functional care. I aim to support clients with education, appropriate timing, and collaboration—so they feel informed, supported, and confident in their next steps.
